Known to most for its excellent smartphone accessories, including chargers and power banks, the Chinese company Anker has long since expanded its product portfolio to projectors, through the sub-brand Nebula which, at CES 2022, showed the new 4K Cosmos Laser , then financed through the crowdfunding of Kickstarter where, now, a new project has made its debut, resulting in the first laser printer, economic and ultra-fast, of the Asian manufacturer.

3D AnkerMake M5, this is the name of the printer in question, rests – for reasons of stability – on an aluminum alloy base and adopts, to facilitate the removal of the creations obtained, a magnetic printing surface: once unpacked, the print in question is easily assembled in about fifteen minutes, being made up of 2 parts, with attached fixing of just 8 screws and final connection of two USB Type-C cables.

Entering into operation, the 3D AnkerMake M5 operates on a print volume equal to 235 x 235 x 250 mm in which an automatic 49-point leveling system is deployed: there is no shortage of safety mechanisms, with the terminal that is provided – for the cases of interruption – of an automatic recovery system and with a system that takes care of the production process to detect any breakage of the filament in extrusion.

The strong point of the AnkerMake M5 3D printer is undoubtedly the operating speed, 5 times higher than the average of other 3D printers, being factory calibrated to usually operate at 250 ml per second: controllable via PC or even via companion app, the newcomer it can receive the contents to be printed in its 8 GB of memory, whose instructions it will interpret by itself, both via Wi-Fi, remotely via cloud. Last but not least, a webcam capable of shooting at 1080p @ 30fps will allow you to follow the molding process, as well as to create suggestive timelapses to share perhaps on your social networks.

By now more than abundantly exceeded the quota necessary to meet the interest of the public and to start production, the AnkerMake M5 Anker 3D printer can be purchased starting from approximately 450 euros, with shipments also planned for Italy (at no additional cost). , and first deliveries scheduled for November this year.
