Always very active in the gaming sector with the AGON brand, the Taiwanese AOC – fresh from the launch of the CU34P2C curved monitor – has announced a new monitor for videogamers (and not only), in the guise of AGON Pro AG274QZM, destined to debut on the market in a few day, in June, with a price of 1299.90 euros.

Without bezels on 3 sides, the AGON Pro AG274QZM monitor stands out for a pedestal with cable management, adjustable in tilt, rotation and height, and for the RGB Light FX back lighting (can be synchronized with other AOC AGON devices and capable of projecting on the desk logo). Technically, the monitor makes use of a 27-inch IPS LCD panel, resolved in WQHD (i.e. 2560 x 1440 pixels), with great care for visual realism thanks to the attention given to colors (coverage of 149 and 97% respectively. on the color gamut sRGB ee DCI – P3. representation of 1.07 billion colors).

Equipped with a backlight via miniLED, which puts in place 576 adjustment zones, the AGON Pro AG274QZM display boasts the VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certification, as demonstrated by the ability to reach 1,200 nits of maximum brightness. Thanks to an anti-glare treatment, which stems reflections and excessive ambient light, it also improves the perceived contrast.

If the previous data could persuade even creatives and graphics professionals, certainly other parameters are attractive to gamers: specifically, the AGON Pro AG274QZM monitor boasts a refresh rate of 240 Hz and synchronizes perfectly with the frame rate of graphics cards thanks support for Adaptive Sync technology and compatibility with G-Sync technology. There is also a response time of 1 millisecond from gray to gray (GtG).

In terms of ports, the AGON Pro AG274QZM monitor acts as a hub, thanks to the 4 USB 3.2 ports that lend themselves to connecting various peripherals (eg mouse, keyboard) and, via KVM switch, allows you to switch between sources (eg pc game) to the other (work pc), always providing the same set of mouse and keyboard. The presence of a USB Type-C, capable of delivering 65W, allows you to power and charge any connected laptop. Finally, it should be noted that the OSD menu can be accessed not only via the G-Menu software or joystick, but also more quickly via the QuickSwitch disk controller.
