A short distance from the AGON PRO AG274QS, the Taiwanese AOC has announced a new gaming display, the Agon Pro AG344UXM, scheduling it for sale from July, at a price of 1,849 euros.
The Agon Pro AG344UXM gaming monitor has a flat design, with slim bezels on 3 sides, LightFX RGB backlighting (with logo projection on the front, through a hole in the metal pedestal, which allows adjustment in tilt, rotation and height). It can be managed via wired remote control or via the G-Menu software, in order to take advantage of the opportunities of the OSD menu (on screen display), such as the FPS counter display, the Dial Point superimposed viewfinder, the low blue light mode to avoid getting tired during long uses, changing the saturation via AOC Game Color.
The newcomer, in terms of “naked and raw” specifications, uses a 34-inch IPS LCD panel, with a horizontal extension that can be fully exploited using the Picture-by-Picture mode. The backlight, via miniLED, ensures (Local Dimming) 1152 control zones, for a very high contrast and a remarkable brightness.
The panel used by the Agon Pro AG344UXM is resolved in UWQHD (3,440 x 1,440 pixels) according to an aspect ratio of 21: 9: basic, has a 10-bit color depth, boasts 1,000 nits of brightness, ensures wide color gamut ( 100% of sRGB, 99% of DCI-P3), with gamers teased by the low response time, equal to 1 ms gray to gray, by the 170 Hz response time, and by the support, in an anti shuttering and anti tearing, to AMD FreeSync. Turning to audio, there are two speakers, 8W each, designed to support DTS Audio.
In terms of ports, in addition to the presence of Display Port 1.4 and HDMI 2.1, in the AOC Agon Pro AG344UXM monitor there is a hub with 4 USB. a USB Type-C with 90W power supply useful in case you connect a notebook, and a KVM module, which allows you to use the same keyboard – mouse on multiple computers connected to the same screen.
