In a short press release, AOC has announced the arrival on the market of the already affordable CU34P2C, an elegant 34-inch curved monitor resolute in UWQHD.
After the luxurious AGON PRO PD32M, the Taiwanese brand AOC has decided to amaze with a new monitor, called AOC CU34P2C, ideal for professionals, even in the image, for streamers, and for those who want to indulge in a few games at the end of the day or in the lunch break.
The new AOC CU34P2C features very narrow bezels on 3 sides and a pedestal that is not only elegant to the eye, but also functional in allowing different adjustments, in inclination, height (up to 150 mm) and rotation: energy efficient (TCO 8.0, EnergyStar 8) , the device in question increases the sensations of comfort of the aforementioned adjustments also by implementing (via OSD) the low blue light emission mode, facing the flicker by means of DC Dimming, allowing to mount on the back, via VESA connection, a miniPC (in style Intel NUC, to make it an all-in-one), or to keep two computers connected (eg desktop and notebook) being able to use the same mouse and keyboard combo thanks to the KVM switch.
From the point of view of the specifications, the AOC CU34P2C monitor features a 34-inch LCD panel, resolved at 3440 × 1440 pixels, then in UWQHD, according to an aspect ratio of 21: 9 ideal for tiling windows, with a 1500R curvature that increases the user’s sense of immersion, in concert, in some use cases, with the presence of two speakers of 3W each, for a total of 6 watts.
Easily readable under a light source, due to its 300 nits of brightness and 3000: 1 contrast, the AOC CU34P2C display with vertically aligned (VA) LEDs offers excellent horizontal and vertical viewing angles (178 °) and extensive coverage on important color gamut (120% on sRGB and 89% on AdobeRGB). Delighted the professionals, however, AOC has not neglected the gamers, with its new curved display that boasts 100 Hz refresh rates reinforced (in an anti-ghosting perspective) by Adaptive Sync / FreeSync and excellent response times (4 ms in GtG and 1 in MPRT).
The technical picture of the AOC CU34P2C monitor, officially priced at 619 euros, is closed by the array of ports, with a DisplayPort 1.2, a pair of HDMI 2.0, a hub with 4 USB and a Type-C (with a 65 watt power supply, maybe for the laptop to act as the main screen).
