Renowned for its monitors, presented in a price list capable of fulfilling any need, the Taiwanese AOC has enriched the AGON range of its gaming displays with the new model U28G2XU2, destined (for the figure of 799 euros) to meet the desired budding gamers, but also hardcore ones.

AOC GAMING U28G2XU2 rests on an adjustable support (130 mm) in height, which can be rotated (90 °) and adjusted in inclination, to assume the ideal position for the user who, in addition, will also benefit in using it from the anti- flicker free anti flicker and that for the low blue light emission. Basically, the product integrates a 28-inch LCD panel, resolved at 3840 x 2160 pixels, therefore in 4K, with excellent viewing angles (as IPS), VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification with 400 nits of peak brightness, 144 Hz refresh rate, 1 millisecond as gray to gray response time (GtG).

Shuttering or tearing artifacts are avoided thanks to the support for VRR (variable refresh rate), FreeSync Premium and Adaptive-Sync technologies, two speakers, 3W each, take care of the audio output of the AOC GAMING U28G2XU2 monitor which, in terms of ports, do not miss a pair of DisplayPort 1.4 (with Display Stream Compression, DSC) and as many HDMI 2.1 (with support for 4K @ 120 Hz): as in other similar products, even in this terminal there is a USB hub, including four ports USB 3.2.

On the software side, thanks to the “picture-in-picture” and “picture-by-picture” features, it supports the display of two content sources at the same time, in the first case displaying one of the contents in a floating window and, in the second, placing side by side the contents next to each other.

More on the gaming side, the functions provided by the AOC GAMING U28G2XU2 monitor provide that it is possible to adjust, via Shadow Control, the visibility in the dark areas to capture the enemies that are hidden in the shadows: there is also a function to manage the color saturation via Game Color, the classic overlay, via Dial Point, of the viewfinder to be facilitated in first-person shooters, and the OSD which allows, among other things, to access six different game modes.
