After the Alpha headphones awarded at CES 2022, we return to talk about the Cleer Audio brand for a new product dedicated to individual listening, this time in view of the summer thanks to the Cleer Audio Arc true wireless earphones for sports.

Made with midnight blue or light gray finishes, Cleer Audio Arc earphones have an open design, in the sense that, instead of having units that enter the ear, they have a sort of small “shutter” that is placed directly at its entrance, leaving that ambient sounds, a bit like in rival models from Sony and Bose, can enter the ear cup, for greater awareness when training on the side of the road, running, walking or cycling.

Compared to the rival models Bose Sport Open Earbuds and Sony LinkBuds, the Cleer Audo Arc earphones have flexible hinges, which allow you to slightly turn the “vanes” of emission, for a better fit, adapting the product and its pressure to each ear. The exterior of the new earbuds in question supports touch controls, to stop or start music, adjust its volume, skip tracks, but also to answer or reject phone calls.

The interior houses first of all customized 16.2 mm neodymium drivers with graphene accredited with 20Hz-20kHz frequency response: a further improvement to the audio, however, is also obtained thanks to the Cleer + companion app, which allows you to update the firmware, to maintain high product performance and to customize the sound profile by adjusting the equalizer. The chip for the Bluetooth 5.0 connection, then, although it does not support the AAC codec, certainly does not lack the management of the SBC and aptX codecs (the latter with low latency). On the output side, two microphones with CvC noise reduction operate.

Waterproof against sweat and splashes of water, thanks to the IPX4 standard, the Cleer Audio Arc earphones enjoy 7 hours of battery life and, thanks to a fast charging system, are able to gain an extra hour of playback after just 10 minutes. in the case (chargeable via microUSB Type-A). Currently, they are available for pre-order on the Hifiheadphones website at a price of 129 pounds (about 152 euros).
