Appreciated for its commitment to making computer components and accessories, the Corsair brand has announced a premium notebook in collaboration with AMD and Elgato which, represented by the Corsair Voyager a1600 AMD Advantage Edition, offers everything gamers need, streamers, and content creators.

Animated by Windows 11 Home (with the subsequent arrival of versions with Windows 11 Pro on board), the Corsair Voyager a1600 AMD Advantage Edition has important dimensions, as emerged from the 19.9 mm of thickness for 2.4 kg of weight. The visual area is entrusted to a 16-inch IPS LCD display resolved in QHD + (2560 × 1600 pixels) according to an aspect ratio at 16:10, with 240 Hz refresh rate, and support for AMD Freesync Premium. The webcam, in FullHD @ 30fps, is accompanied by 4 directional microphones with ambient noise cancellation.

The hinge presents, in the middle, a sort of touchbar with 10 S-Key customizable via Elgato Stream Deck, to provide shortcuts to software dedicated to streaming: just below, the keyboard stands out, RGB backlit at the key level, with proprietary Capellix LEDs managed by iCue software, membrane for half-height keys and Cherry MX mechanical switches. On the sides of the camera body, there are several ports, including a pair of USB 4.0 for Thunderbolt 3, a USB 3.2 of 2nd gen Type- C, an SD card reader, a 3.5mm combo jack, and a USB 3.2 1st gen Type-A. Thanks to the Corsair Slipstream Wireless standard receiver it is possible to connect at low latency, without taking up any USB, mouse, keyboard and more.

With the benefit of Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi ax / 6 wireless connectivity, the AMD Ryzen 7 6800HS (4.4 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 9 octacore processors with 16 threads respectively come into play (bringing the general price lists of 2,700 and 3,000 dollars respectively) 6900HS (4.8 GHz), flanked by the Radeon RX 6800M GPU: the benefit of additional performance is brought by the proprietary optimizations Smart Access Memory (uses the GPU memory) and SmartShift Technology (CPU and GPU work together to maximize efficiency and performance), but also from the compact thermal disposal system, entrusted to a steam chamber.

The RAM, DDR5 SO-DIMM, is managed by two VENGEANCE proprietary banks, of 16 or 32 GB (for a total of 32 or 64 GB), while the SSD storage, M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0, amounts in total to 1 or 2 TB. Finally, the battery reaches a capacity of 6,410 mAh, equal to 99 Wh.
