With cut and reinforced corners, and two side inlets on the back for a better grip, the Doogee S61 and S61 Pro boast IP68 / IP69K (waterproof) and MIL-STD-810H (resistance to shocks and extreme conditions) certifications. On the front, the two devices have a 6-inch LCD display, resolved in HD + (1,440 x 720 pixels) with a maximum brightness of 500 nits. At the top of the cameras, both models have a trio, one in the front and two in the back.

The self-camera of the standard Doogee S61 is 8 megapixels, while in the Doogee S61 Pro it reaches 16 megapixels. The back is present in several alternative textures, all pleasing to the eye, including one that gives the feel of carbon fiber, one that evokes the ribs of solid wood, one that looks like frosted AG glass, and one that portrays the internal components , on the style of the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer Edition: on this surface the dual camera sensors stand out in a pillar at the top center.

This imaging aggregate in both Doogee S61 includes a 20 megapixel sensor for night vision, surrounded by a ring of 8 infrared LEDs: the main sensor, in the standard model, is 20 megapixel, while in the S61 Pro reaches 48 megapixels. In the audio branch, the two future rugged phones avoid the use of the headphone adapter, being equipped with the 3.5 mm mini-jack.

For the processor, the manufacturer has provided for the use of Mediatek’s octacore (2.3 GHz) Helio G35, with the PowerVR GE8320 GPU: the RAM, LPDDR4X, is always 6 megapixel, but the storage, expandable via microSD, is 64 GB in the base model, and 128 GB in the Pro model. Without 5G, but with NFC for contactless payments, the Doogee S61 duo relies on a 5,180 mAh battery, and the Android 12 operating system.
