A year after the base models of the 6th generation, the Texan brand Fossil Group has announced the hybrid versions, which come 3 years after its latest timepieces with classic shapes and smart functions.
The new Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid wearables, already present also on the Italian price list of the brand, are made in two different stylistic versions: the “Machine” variant, with a texture on the bezel that is also repeated on the angular buttons, provided in the black, smoke palettes , or silver, has a 45mm diameter frame and uses 24mm straps for larger wrists. The “Stella” version, smaller with its 40.5 mm in diameter, but also more delicate in shape and with double row rhinestones on the round bezel as are the side control buttons, is customized in the shades Silver, Rose Gold and Two -tones: at the level of bracelets, it uses 18 mm straps.
In terms of straps, the manufacturer has made available options in leather, fabric, silicone and metallic mesh. In this “round”, the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid integrate a microphone, which gives them the ease of supporting voice commands to the Amazon Alexa virtual assistant, being able to take advantage of the routines to schedule commitments but also, for example, to control home automation .
There is always a heart rate sensor, even if improved and more precise, to whose operation is added, through an ad hoc sensor, the possibility of measuring the saturation of oxygen in the blood (SpO2). Being well versed in fitness care, Fossil’s new Gen 6 Hybrids do not give up on the functions of monitoring sports activities and health. Continuing in the wake of the novelties of the new Fossil hybrid watches, there are customizable dials, and a redesigned interface to frame the previews of messages and calls, relating to the notifications received from the smartphone connected via Bluetooth, in a more coherent circular layout. At the level of the app, revised for Android and iOS, it will also be possible to obtain a daily overview that summarizes your key information at a glance.
