There is no respite from Oppo which, during a Sunday event, not only unveiled two top telephone ranges, but also offered the attention of the press new tws earphones with ANC and a 4K smart TV with Dolby audio.
On the occasion of the event that led to the presentation of the top range Oppo K10, the Chinese brand also unveiled a new pair of true wireless earphones, the OPPO Enco Air2 Pro, and a smart TV, with the name of OPPO K9x.
The waterproof (IP54) wireless earphones Oppo Enco Air2 Pro (white, gray, 299 yuan discounted at 269) are equipped with rather large drivers, 12.4 mm, associated with a bass resonance chamber, subject to Enco Live Bass Tuning calibration: for the active noise cancellation, ANC, but also the Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, which offers great stability and low latency (94 ms), intervene to increase the sound quality.
The autonomy is estimated in 7 hours (5 with ANC) thanks to the microbatteries (43 mAh) of the earphones, which go up to 28 hours total (20 with ANC) with the case (440 mAh): thanks to fast charging, in 10 minutes 2 hours of operation are recovered. On the smart level, the earphones in question include reminder functions for an interactive experience, “three clicks to collect songs”, and a particular interaction with the local streaming “QQ Music”.
The OPPO K9x smart TV (2,499 yuan discounted to 2,199) adopts a 65-inch panel resolved in 4K, LED backlit, capable of guaranteeing 1.07 billion colors, with 3 filters dedicated to those with problems, such as weak perception or color blindness: the maximum brightness of 280 nits does not allow viewing of HDR content, but the AI PQ algorithm improves images frame by frame.
The smart TV manages Dolby AC-4 decoding while, on the audio side, it mounts 20 watt stereo speakers prepared for Dolby Audio. To power it is a processor with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 cores, supported by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. In terms of ports and connectivity, it boasts Ethernet, dual band Wi-Fi, and three HDMI ports. Thanks to the ColorOS TV interface it also integrates a simplified mode for the elderly, supports local streaming services such as Aurora TV, Mango, Kumiao, iQiyi, Tencent START cloud gaming, can be controlled with voice commands to Xiaobu, is ready to a multi-device use, and allows forms of entertainment such as Fitness AI, or the projection of remote lessons.
