On August 17, 2021, Microsoft 365 support in the browser was dropped. As of June 15, 2022, the Internet Explorer 11 app has been retired and support has ended. Support for Internet Explorer mode on Edge for companies that still use tools that require IE will still be available until at least 2029.
Edge was born in 2016. The new browser from Microsoft has not been able to become the market leader, which has been dominated by Chrome for years, but still offers itself as a valid and modern alternative.
