With a weight of just 31 grams and a thickness of 12.3 mm, it is lighter and thinner compared to the previous model. The 306 mAh battery guarantees up to 24 hours of use with the display always active. Charging is fast, taking around 45 minutes to reach 80% and 80 minutes for a full charge.

The range of connectivity options is also wide, including Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/na 2.4 GHz, NFC and GPS with support for GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and the Quasi-Zenith satellite system.

One of the coolest features of the Pixel Watch 2 is automatic activity tracking with start and end reminders training for seven types of physical activity common, such as running and cycling. Tracking happens intuitively and effortlessly, allowing users to track activities without manually starting the watch.

This also translates into more accurate readings for other health metrics, such as calories burned and active zone minutes, as well as tracking sleep, sending notifications for tachycardia and bradycardia, and indicating your daily recovery level.

With the addition of the function Body Response of Fitbit and a new continuous electrodermal activity (cEDA) sensor and, thanks to a machine learning algorithm, Pixel Watch 2 is able to identify signs of stress and suggest how to reduce it with guided breathing or mindfulness sessions.

Advanced security features

Pixel Watch 2 introduces new features in addition to emergency SOS and fall detection, such as security control o Safety Checkwhich allows users to program a timer for specific situations where they want friends and family to know where they are. Once the timer expires, the watch will ask for confirmation whether or not to start sharing your location or contacting emergency services.

You can also use the emergency sharing o Emergency Sharingfor a pre-set amount of time to share your real-time location with acquaintances or medical information such as allergies, blood type and pre-existing conditions with emergency responders.

A world of possibilities with Wear OS 4.0

Based on Wear OS 4.0Pixel Watch 2 is compatible with most smartphones with Android 9.0and later versions. Requires a Google account and the Google Pixel Watch app to work. It offers theaccess to Gmail, Calendar and Big G’s assistant, ensuring a complete and connected experience. Furthermore, it is possible to receive information such as weather and traffic situation on the dial if necessary.

There are four color combinations for Pixel Watch 2: shiny silver/sky blue, matte black/obsidian black, champagne gold/green gray and shiny silver/clay gray. Also, one wide range of accessoriesincluding perforated slim and sporty metal bands, allows users to further customize the watch.
