The Chinese multinational Hisense is also known for its commitment in the projector sector, so much so that it coined the Laser TV line, represented by projectors that are proposed as the perfect alternative to TVs: continuing in the wake of its progress in the management of light and in the rendering of the images, in the past few hours the brand headquartered in Tsingtao has announced the new 4K laser projector Vidda C1, already bookable online in China at a price of 6,999 yuan (about 977 euros).

The new Vidda C1, which should give its best in the range from 80 to 150 inches, is able to get 100 inches at 2.66 meters from the projection wall, 120 “at 3.19 meters and 150 inches at 3.98 meters: thanks to its full-color laser technology, the images – resolved in 4K – are very bright, with 1,350 Ansi Lumen peak, but also very precise in the color rendering (△ E≈0.9) and very realistic chromatically, with the color gamut for high definition, BT.709, covered at 202%: the credit for these results goes to the choice of renouncing the fluorescent color wheel in favor of the use, directly as light sources, of red, green and blue lasers (in this ‘last case with 465 nm of wavelength, in order to avoid those frequencies, between 400 and 450 nm, harmful to ocular health.

Also according to the manufacturer, the images of the Hisense Vidda C1 projector benefit from 10-bit color depth, MEMC technology of motion fluidization by interpolating simulated frames and, in favor of gamers, of 12 ms as latency and 240 Hz of refresh rate.

Thanks to the Mediatek MT9669 processor (assisted by 4 GB as RAM and 64 GB as storage), the optimizations of the super resolution SR, of the noise reduction, and of the “improvement of the full-dimensional AI image quality are implemented. “While, having acquired the environmental data from the ToF (1 Lidar for depth), brightness, and CMOS (two) sensors, the calibrations relating to orientation, inclination alignment, obstacle avoidance, keystone distortion correction are automatically implemented , focus, etc,

On the acoustic level, the Hisense Vidda C1 projector, improved audio thanks to Dolby Audio Processing (Dolby DAP), integrates two 10-watt speakers, and a 1.5-liter sound chamber, in the name of a sound output that enjoys certification Hi-Res, Dolby Atmos support and immersive DTS Virtual X 360 ° surround sound. Connectivity, on the other hand, includes not only dual-band Wi-Fi, but also Bluetooth 5.0 with connection to two sources (eg for two earphones or tws headphones).
