In the past few hours, the Chinese brand Hisense has announced the prices for Italy of several series of smart TVs, including the already known OLED A9H and OLED A85H, listed from mid-July at 2,599 euros for the first series (from 65 “) and € 1,699 and € 2,499 for the second, available in 55 and 65 inch sizes.

Turning to the series not emerged in the past, the U8HQ provides diagonals of 55, 65 and 75 inches, always with 100/120 Hz: the LCD panels, perhaps ADS, however with 178 ° of horizontal and vertical view, are resolute in UltraHD, and use the technology of the miniLEDs for the backlighting, distributed in Full LED with local dimming, also making use of the Quantum Dots, in order to obtain 112 control zones on the 55-inch, which rise to 160 on the intermediate model and 180 on the 75 ”one.

By borrowing from the OLED 2022 the same HDR formats, the image processor, the SOC and the Smart TV platform, in the miniLED U8HD series there is 95% coverage on the DCI-P3 color gamut and a brightness ranging from 1,000 nits maximum in the smaller cuts to 1,300 on the 75 ”. The audio section, a total of 70W, is substantiated in a 2.1.2 channel system with support for DTS Virtual: X and Dolby Atmos. Among the ports, among the four HDMI, there are two HDMI 2.1 (with FreeSync Premium, under 20 ms of input lag, VRR, eARC, and ALLM). In terms of prices, they range from € 1,099 for the 55 “, to € 1,499 for the 65”, to € 2,199 for the 75 “.

In the ULED U7HQ series there are two models, from 55 “priced at 899 euros, and from 65”, sold for 1,099 euros. The panels used, again with Quantum Dot and 100 – 120 Hz, are probably an ADS in the first case and a VA in the second case, with the backlighting obtained via FullHD with local dimming, in order to obtain 32 control zones, with a benefit for the brightness, which reaches a peak of 600 nits. Marked by a DCI-P3 higher than 90%, the two versions of this series have a total 20W stereo sound system, with attached support for DTS Virtual: X and Dolby Atmos, and share the Smart TV platform and processor from the premium OLEDs. video, however, doing without Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 certification. On the other hand, of the 4 HDMIs remain two according to the 2.1 standard (therefore with eARC, UltraHD at 120 Hz, VRR, ALLM, FreeSync Premium) : there is also the Game Mode Pro which (among other things) lowers the input lag below 20 ms.

The E7HQ series declines in the 43 “(549 euro), 50” (599 euro), 55 “(649 euro) and 65” (899 euro) diagonals the QLED panels with Quantum Dots from 60 Hz maximum, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 (also +): the Direct LED backlight is behind the values ​​of 250 – 300 nits of maximum brightness. On the audio level, the on-board system, with support for Dolby Audio and DTS Virtual: X, has a total power of 14W on the small model, 16W on the two 50 and 55 ”models, and 20W on the largest model ever. The whole is coordinated by the MSD6886 processor with the VIDAA U5.0 operating system.

With the exception of the 50 ”, which opts for HDMI 2.0b, the rest of the series has three HDMIs with 2.1 functions: in particular the 43” benefits from ALLM and VRR, the 55 ”from ALLM, eARC and VRR. 65 “of eARC and ALLM. The Game Mode, here Plus, on 43 and 55 inches allows a VRR between 48 and 60 Hz. With the input lag always below 20 ms.
