This week is full of updates for operating systems and news for electronic devices of various kinds. Yesterday, July 19, 2023, we reported the availability of the Release Candidate of iOS 16.6 and tvOS 16.6 for Apple TV, with numerous security fixes and bug fixes. At the same time, however, an update always related to smart TVs has appeared on the net. Hisense has presented the VIDAA U7the new OS for its latest generation televisions designed for an avant-garde audiovisual experience.
Hisense presents VIDAA U7
With a dedicated press release, the manufacturer of televisions and household appliances has announced the debut of the new version of its proprietary operating system for Smart TVs. VIDAA U7 will be present in the TVs of the brand in the A85, UX, U8, U7 and E7 Pro linesoffering an improved user interface with layout based on viewing suggestions and rational arrangement of applications.
VIDAA U7 adotta inoltre un approach Home as a launcher: starting today, the operating system is to all intents and purposes an input of the TV, and can therefore be the default screen after the device is switched on.
However, there is also talk of an application, VIDAA Free, a standalone solution that aggregates hundreds of free video-on-demand programs and linear channels, with a smart and modern experience. VIDAA Free will be available globally by the end of 2023 and will be able to count on a daily update of its contents.
Finally, we point out the considerable screensaver customization capabilities and improved voice control thanks to VIDAA Voice, with support for 22 languages and dialects for a better speech recognition ability.
