Honor 9X 5G: official the mid-range with fast charge at 66W

Honor has presented in the past few hours a mid-range, the Honor 9X, which, as per the claim, is extremely fast and cared for even in the energy segment, for battery capacity and charging speed. Too bad for the anchoring to Android 11.

The Chinese brand Honor continues to focus strongly on the mid-range, formerly Huawei which, after launching its predecessor in Saudi Arabia, has now made official the next Honor X9 5G in Malaysia which, while applying for the international version of the Honor X30 distributed in China, also has many aesthetic commonalities with the former cousin Huawei Mate 40.

Presented to the cry of “eXtra Speed, eXtra Power”, the Honor X9 5G, cadenced with a chassis (166.07 x 75.78 x 8.05 mm, for 189 grams) in the colors Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Titanium Silver, alludes to the X of the denomination in the suggestive circular rear metal plate where, by combining the sensors of the triple post-camera and the LED flash, passing through the central Matrix writing, an ideal X is formed. Starting from the substance, the display is a resolute 6.81-inch panel in FullHD + which, being an IPS LCD, can allow itself 120 Hz of refresh rate, but not the fingerprint scanner, not surprisingly dislocated on the right frame.

The self-camera of the Honor X9 5G is placed in a hole at the top center of the screen, with a resolution of 16 megapixels (f / 2.45): behind, the multi-camera deploys a main sensor of 48 (f / 1.8, pixel binning), a secondary 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) for depth, and an auxiliary 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) for macros. On the audio side, the 3.5 mm mini-jack is missing, supplied in the package by the adapter for the microUSB Type-C port.

The octacore processor (2.2 GHz) Snapdragon 695, with 6 nanometer lithography and 64-bit architecture, offers an Adreno 619L GPU and a modem for 5G, in a connectivity compartment that, for the rest, does not miss the Dual nano SIM, 4G, dual band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (Beidou, Glonass), and NFC for payments. The mnemonic set-up provides 128 GB of non-expandable storage, from which 2 GB can be subtracted via Honor RAM Turbo to be allocated to virtual expansion from RAM, from 8 physical GB (thus hybridized to 10).

No less performing, in the Honor 9X animated by Android 11 (under Magic UI 4.2 interface), is the recharge section, which via 66W SuperCharge, using the charger included in the package, can quickly top up the battery, from 4,800 mah , from 0 to 81% in just 30 minutes.
