1. Broadcast list, what it is and what it is for
The broadcast list is a list created by the user and which contains all the contacts entered by the user. It is needed to be able to send the same message to multiple people at the same time and repeatedly, without having to select individual recipients.
It is a particular communication method, which allows a single user, an organization or a company to send the same content to multiple people: it’s a one-to-many conversation. It is not to be confused with groups, where all members can converse and interact with each other.
There are some limitations to be aware of to be able to use broadcast lists consciously and to prevent your message from not being received by the desired recipients. It is important that they have added the user among their contacts. Otherwise they will not receive the messages sent.
When a recipient receives a message from the broadcast list displays it as if it were a normal message. Your possible response will be sent only to the owner of the broadcast as a usual response to a chat.

2. How to create a broadcast list on WhatsApp for Android
If you have a device supported by the Android operating system, you can create a WhatsApp broadcast list by launching the application. On the main screen, click three vertical dots which are located at the top right and which give access to options and settings.

3. How to create a broadcast list on iPhone
If you have an iOS-supported mobile device, such as iPhones, you can create a broadcast list by launching the official WhatsApp application. On the instant messaging platform home page, click Chat. Next, select Liste Broadcast and click on New List.
Select all the users you want to add to the list or search for them in your contacts by clicking on the magnifying glass icon. Once finished click Crea and start sending the messages you want.
4. Edit a broadcast list from Android
Broadcast lists can be modified at any time changing the name or adding and removing recipients.
Per change the name of the list and make it easily recognizable and individual within the chat list, if you have an Android device, launch the app and open the broadcast list on which you want to intervene. Click on three vertical dots positioned at the top right which give access to the other options.
Press on the item Info list broadcast. In the screen that opens, click on the three vertical dots at the top right and choose Change broadcast list name. Enter the new name and the emoticons you want to add and, once finished, click Ok.

5. Edit a broadcast list from iOS
To edit a list, launch WhatsApp from your iPhone and click Chat. Press on Liste broadcast to access the list of lists created and used. Tap the information icon next to the list you want to make changes to.
In this area it is possible change the name of the list or add or remove recipients of their messages. If you want to perform this last action, click on the item Modify list.
6. Delete a broadcast list from Android and iOS
Broadcast lists can be deleted at any time when their usefulness ceases to exist. If you use a telephone Android simply hold down the name of the list and tap the button Remove, identified by a trash can. You can choose whether to also delete all media files or leave them on the device.
If you are using an iOS device, click Chat come on Liste Broadcast. Press on the one you want to delete and swipe to the left. Click on Remove.
