According to what was communicated by the company, together with its latest folding smartphone, several already known wearables will also arrive in Europe, with Huawei which, for the occasion, also presented the new Watch Fit 2.

During an event organized by Huawei, which led to the debut in Italy of the Watch GT 3 Pro (from 46 mm to 369.90 euros in black fluorine elastomer and gray leather, or 499.90 in titanium, from 43 mm to 499.90 euros in white leather or 599.90 euros in ceramic, in the name of a promo that provides a discount of 70 euros via coupon, an extra strap and a year of Huawei +), for now only in Germany (from next month) of the folding smartphone Mate Xs 2, and – again in the Old Continent – also of the Huawei Band 7, the famous Chinese brand has increased the dose of novelty by also unveiling the new Watch Fit 2.
The Huawei Watch Fit 2 is highly customizable in look. By opting for the Active Edition version (149.90 euros) you get the Sakura Pink, Midnight Black, Isle Blue colors, where the Classic Edition (179.90 euros) is cadenced in Moon White and Nebula Gray, and the Elegant Edition (249.90 euros) in Premium Gold and Silver Frost. Thanks to the quick release straps, with various colors and styles, it is possible to combine them with Milanese mesh, leather or silicone bracelets. It should be noted that, proceeding with pre-orders from 7 June, for a deposit of 10 euros, you will get both a discount of 20 euros on the price of the chosen variant and the Huawei Scale 3 smart scale (improved version of the model dated 2019) .
The 1.74-inch AMOLED display, enlarged by 18.6% compared to its predecessor, boasts a resolution of 336 x 480 pixels and 336 PPI as pixels per inch: the user can switch between different watch faces and, thanks to the one-hop function, even use smartphone photos (max 5) transmitted via NFC. Basically, the device is able to analyze sleep phases, to identify problems and propose solutions, to pay attention to heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (Huawei TruSeen 5.0), to detect stress by helping to reduce it with exercises breathing, while the Healthy Living Management function helps to maintain a healthy lifestyle, preparing an individual wellness plan with notifications for hydration, steps and workouts to be done daily, without forgetting animations and audio to remind the user to get up and move if sitting for too long.
Also among the functions related to feeling good, the Huawei Fit 2 includes monitoring of the menstrual cycle which, taking into account skin temperature and heart / respiratory rate, predicts when menstruation will occur and helps to prepare in advance by remembering its onset. in time.
The dual-band GNSS locator with 5 satellite detection systems provides feedback to the monitoring of 97 sports activities covered (cycling, running, walking, dancing, weights, with the ball, etc) for 7 of which the improved virtual coach bestows, also warm-up and stretching, helpful animations and easy-to-follow instructions. The Running Ability Index function remains, which allows you to draw up a personalized training plan based on the user’s weight, age, height and fitness, adjusting the suggestions in relation to what progress is perceived from time to time. With the new model, the Sport Field mode improves in accuracy in detecting pace and km, while, in the Huawei Health app, the function to import and export routes arrives, being able to share them with the community of other users who keep fit.
By virtue of Bluetooth 5.2 it is possible to manage notifications from the Android or iOS smartphone, and calls directly from the wrist, having been implemented, together with the microphone, a speaker. The memory for storage, from 32 GB, allows you to store a lot of your music, to be listened to with BT headphones, while the battery, sized at 292 mAh, promises 7 days of intense use.
