During the morning event organized by Huawei at home, the well-known Chinese brand pitted various innovations, gradually more important, including proprietary solutions in the imaging field, new colors for existing devices, and a new series of smartphones.

The debut novelty illustrated by He Gang, president of Handset Business and Consumer Business of Huawei, was substantiated in the launch of an internal solution to the non-renewed collaboration with Leica in the imaging field for its phones: to fill this gap, it was formed the XMAGE division / brand. Moving on to the updates of already known products, the foldable P50 Pocket has been enriched with two new colors, Yunjin White (white brocade cloud) and Azure Blue (light blue), providing a side in glass and one in smooth leather, as well as bi-material stitching. , with a cost of 8,988 yuan (about 1,288 euros) for the 8 + 256 GB model and 9,988 yuan (1,431 euros) for the 8 + 512 GB model.

Continuing the updates, the Huawei Children’s Watch 4 Pro has been recalibrated, after almost a year from its debut, with a price of 998 yuan (about 143 euros), in the versions “The return of the great sage” and “Deep Sea”.

After mentioning the 200 million Nova series smartphones sold worldwide, Huawei presented the new Nova 10 and Nova 10 Pro, the thinnest of this series, always animated by Harmony OS 2.0.1 with Touch Turbo 2.0 technology ( after the debut of the first version on the Nova 9).

The Huawei Nova 10, designed in the 4 Qijing Forest colors (green), n. 10 (silver), Provence (purple) and Yaojin Black (black), has a 6.88 mm thick chassis (overall, we are talking about 162.18 x 73.91 x 6.88 mm) weighing 168 grams. The (curved) display is a 6.67-inch OLED panel, resolved in FullHD + (2400 × 1080 pixels), with the ability to display 1 billion colors, 10-bit color depth, DCI-P3 color gamut support, and 120 Hz refresh rate, and the fingerprint scanner underneath. Provided a hole in the top center, inside it is located the self-camera, from 60 megapixels (wide angle, with video up to 4K, face unlock).

Behind, a vertical pillar on the left with the middle sensor circled in silver columns the sensors of the triple camera, from 50 (main, with RYYB matrix), 8 (ultra-wide angle + macro), and 2 (depth) megapixels.

As a processor, with only 4G support, the octacore (2.4 GHz) Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 with Adreno 642L GPU was chosen, while the configurations of memories, RAM and storage, are two, respectively of 8 + 128 GB (2,699 yuan , or about 386 euros) and 8 + 256 GB (2,999 yuan, about 430 euros). On the energy level, the Nova 10 uses a 4,000 mAh battery, which can be quickly charged to 66W via microUSB Type-C. Also at the hardware level, there are Wi-Fi 6E / Bluetooth 5.2 connections and the NFC module for contactless payments.

Thick 7.88 mm (for a complex of 164.24 x 74.45 x 7.88 mm) and weighing 191 grams, the Huawei Nova 10 Pro is provided in the same 4 colors as its younger brother, from which it also borrows 4G, NFC and Wi -Fi 6E, and the BT 5.2. The front is different: the (curved) display, from 6.78 inches, formed by a resolute OLED panel at 2652 × 1200 pixels, with 120 Hz refresh rate, support for DCI-P3 and a billion colors, with fingerprint scanner in-display, benefits from the HDR Vivid certification and, above all, does not have a hole but a horizontal pillar at the top left, for the b, from 60 (100 ° ultra-wide angle, focus tracking) and 8 (optical zoom for the Portraits, from 0.7 to 5X).

Behind, the design is the same as the Nova 10, with a triple camera of 50 (main, RYYB matrix), 8 (macro and ultra wide angle), 2 (depth): the battery rises to 4,500 mAh, but also improves its fast charging ( Turbo) which, at 100W, allows it to be completely refilled in 20 minutes. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G octacore was always placed at the helms of command, with the 8 + 128 GB set-up priced in this case at 3,699 yuan (roughly 530 euros) and that from 8 + 256 GB to 3,999 yuan (572 euros) approximately).
