The presentation of the Apple Pencil with USB-C may have put the “end” to 2023 for the Cupertino company. According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in fact, the much talked about Next generation 24″ iMac will debut in the early months of 2024just as widely suggested by his “colleague” Mark Gurmannote signature of Bloomberg.
In his latest report, Kuo does not specify which he thinks will be the processor that will move the gears of the all-in-one computer. However, the aforementioned Gurman may have resolved the doubt, who is betting everything onM3made with a 3 nanometer production process.
The iMac currently on the market was officially presented in “far” 2021 and can count on the chip M1. It has never been updated since then, so in 2024 the time will be more than ripe for a new (requested) model.
A 32″ iMac with mini-LED display in 2025?
A made-in-Cupertino AiO by higher range could hit physical and digital store shelves in 2025. Ming-Chi Kuo is still the one who launched the indiscretion, according to which Apple is working on a iMac with 32″ display with mini-LED technology.
Its position in the price list is not yet clear, but it could go to take the place of the 2017 iMac Pro whose production was discontinued two years ago. To date, the most valid alternative is represented by the combo formed by the Mac Studio and the 27-inch Studio Display.
Almost all the details regarding Apple’s 2025 plans are unknown, but Kuo says the iMac with a larger panel will use the mini-LED technology that Apple introduced with the Pro Display XDR. As regards the design, some hypotheses can be put forward: thinner frames and a lower band with smaller dimensions, for example.
