While the wait continues for the alleged foldable iPad arriving in 2024, industry tipsters continue to talk online about the Cupertino giant’s next steps regarding the flagship tablet line. In the past it has already been reported in several different circumstances that Apple would have switched from mini-LED panels to those OLED per iPad Pro and now, thanks to the renowned Ming-Chi Kuo, further confirmations seem to be arriving on the specifications of the iPad Pro 2024: what will it be like?

Discovering the iPad Pro 2024: what specifications will it have?

According to the Korean expert, the 2024 iPad Pro tablet should arrive with the OLED technology via LTPO backplane, already seen on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. In this way not only the image quality improves, but also energy efficiency. However, ProMotion technology will also arrive on the iPad Pro, supporting a refresh rate of 120Hz which can drop down to 1Hz based on the content shown on the screen. For a static image, for example, the refresh rate will be reduced to a minimum.

Apple lied about privacy for three years

There will obviously be a price increase as a consequence of the change in technology, being a more expensive standard. However, the mini-LED versions will see a corresponding price drop to get a Pro model with the M2 chip at a significantly lower price. However, it must be remembered that the next line of Pro tablets should arrive with the Chipset M3 is also 3 nm Apple, for greater power and a further increase in efficiency. For the moment, despite Ming-Chi Kuo’s excellent history, we recommend taking these rumors with a pinch of salt.
