iPad Pro OLED with M4 chip and AI features: the rumors a few days after the event

There is little doubt that at this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference Apple will also (and above all) present its latest innovations in terms of artificial intelligence. Apparently, however, the company will start warming up the engines in a few days with theevent on May 7th focused on new tablets, including theiPad Pro con display OLED.

The M4 chip could debut with the new iPad Pro OLED: will AI also be the protagonist of the May 7 event?

Since there is little left until the appointment, the rumors about the next made-in-Cupertino devices are intensifying, and according to Mark Gurman – the well-known and reliable signature of Bloombergthe iPad Pro with OLED display will arrive with the new M4 chip and the related Neural Engine. Two ingredients for an AI recipe, and it is no coincidence that the journalist describes it as “the first device truly based on artificial intelligence” from Apple.

Through his newsletter Power On (via The Verge), Gurman explains that the company could use the “Let Loose” event on May 7 to explain his AI strategy as calmly as possible. Since this event is entirely dedicated to tablets, the Californian company could in fact describe in more detail how the new iPad Pro and other devices with the chip M4 they will use AI functions (some on-device, others in collaboration with companies like Google).

iPad Pro 2024 coming soon, Apple will also launch a 12.9-inch Air

In addition to an update to the entire iPad line, they are also expected new accessories. The most talked about one, especially for the event’s artwork which leaves little room for doubt, is the Third generation Apple Pencil complete with tactile feedback. The latter would be a novelty that would be added to the “squeeze” function and the magnetic tips which, easy to exchange, would allow users to use different styles based on the need of the moment.

According to rumors, there should also be one of the protagonists of the event an iPad Air with a 12.9-inch display. This, due to the more generous size of the panel and the lower price (compared to the Pro models with OLED display), could potentially become the most requested tablet of the coming months.

The appointment with the event Let Loose is set for Tuesday 7 May, 4pm.
