iPhone 16, all models with the new 3nm A18 Pro chip

According to some rumors that are circulating on the web these days, Apple he plans to make things even bigger. Already with the new series iPhone 16 next year the Cupertino giant will show its intentions.

According to reports, in fact, the American company wants to equip all four devices that will arrive towards the end of 2024 with the same processor. The chip, which without a doubt will be the new one A18 Pro produced by TSMC, it will be produced, like the current A17 Pro, with a production process 3 nm.

In the event that this rumor turns out to be true, a change made with the last iPhone 14 series would be cancelled. In fact, let’s remember that Apple is recently equipping the new basic devices with the top-of-the-range processor supplied with the Pro models of the previous year .

Apple turns everything upside down, from next year itself A18 Pro chip for the entire range

Last 2022 was the first year in which Apple did not equip all smartphones in the range with the same processor. In fact, only the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max were equipped with the processor A16 Bionic to 4 nm.

The 14 and 14 Plus models have been assigned theA15 Bionic, previously launched with all four iPhone 13 models. Now, however, there is a sudden about-face, at least according to what was declared by some voices very close to the environment: Apple would like to introduce the same processor on all four phones next year models. From the iPhone 16 to the 16 Pro Max, users will have the opportunity to test the new A18 Pro.

This could be the beginning of a new line of continuity starting from this year’s Pro models. The iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are currently the only two smartphones in the world to use a processor generated with a 3nm production process. Perhaps it was a test for next year which will see the entire range equipped in the same way.
