While the other giants prepare a counter-response to the new ones iPhone launched in September, it seems that Apple is not sitting idle. In fact, the company would be working hard to develop what will be its next top of the range models for 2024.
Some forecasts speak of almost similar details for the first two devices in the line-up, namely iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. These will maintain the same dimensions and the same refresh rate as regards the display, without moving away from the 15 models.
They have designated 2025 for the change in display dimensions, which will reach 6.3 and 6.9″ respectively. If this is the information regarding the first two phones of 2024, it is not the same for the absolute tops, that is iPhone 16 Pro e 16 Pro Max.

Although some very famous tipsters have launched important rumors about Apple’s new flagships, it’s always better when confirmations arrive. Some data relating to the screens of all four models of the 16 range of 2024 would have arrived directly on Twitter/X in the last few hours.
As for the first of the four smartphones, the screen will be an LTPS with 60Hz refresh rate and a width of 6.12″. The screen of the 16 Plus instead will have a diagonal of 6.69″ with a refresh rate of 60Hz. Dynamic Island will return to both phones and there will be overall improvements to the internal display.
Moving on to the absolute tops, the iPhone 16 Pro will feature a display of 6,27″ LTPO with a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, will be equipped with a larger screen, that is, by a lot 6,86″ equipped with the same dynamic refresh rate as the 16 Pro. Both 2024 Pro models will ship with Dynamic Island and will bring overall improvements to the display.
It is clearly too early to better define the situation, but never before had such detailed rumors arrived almost a year earlier.
