iPhone 16 Pro, with the new cameras goodbye to the problem of lens flare

It is clear to everyone that by the end of 2024, more precisely in the month of September, Apple will reveal its new series to the whole world iPhone 16. There have been many rumors lately that have tried to anticipate some aspects of the upcoming iPhones and apparently a lot of them continue to circulate online. The latest news revolves in the last few hours around the details of the camera belonging to the model 16 Pro.

As reported by the source in question, the new coating that will shield the sensors of the new iPhone 16 Pro could reduce lens flare and we have to say “finally!”. The so-called “lens flare” could therefore disappear or at least be reduced by this new idea made in Cupertino.

Apple will improve the cameras of its iPhone 16 Pro by eliminating lens flare

It is hypothesized, according to the rumors circulating at the moment, that Apple could improve the cameras of its next iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. All this would happen with a new anti-reflective material ready to cover the objectives.

The report published on the web yesterday suggests that Apple could rely on a technology called Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). ALD is an excellent solution: it allows you to lay an incredibly thin material on the surface – of the cameras of the new iPhones in this case – one atom at a time. Using ALD therefore, Apple manages to coat its cameras in 3D.

The addition of what is essentially a filter should thus help reduce flaring, a phenomenon that unfortunately affects all smartphones. In reality, everything leads us to think that this innovation will solve the problem not only for the new iPhone 16 Pro but also for the Pro Max.

No more lens reflections therefore: the photos will be even sharper and more precise, and apparently the competing companies will have a new camera phone to beat.
