The unstoppable creative hotbed of BBK Electronics, abandoned for a moment the vicissitudes of the controlled brand Realme, has dedicated itself to its iQOO brand, putting together, ready to trade, the mid-range U5e.

There is no doubt that iQOO, from the BBK group, is keeping its fans on their toes about the launch of the top of the range iQOO 10 Series. in the meantime, however, the wait has been deceived with a new mid-level smartphone, represented by the iQOO U5e.
The iQOO U5e (164 x 75.84 x 8.25 mm for 193 grams) has a frame drawn up in the colors white Silver White and black Dark Black: the stylistic choices have been substantiated, in addition to the aforementioned palettes, in the water drop notch, in a chin at the bottom not so exaggerated, in a fingerprint scanner placed laterally on the right frame, and in a rectangular black module on the left at the back, including two portholes of equal size rimmed in clear. The short bottom side houses a Type-C microUSB and, in addition to microphone and speaker, the 3.5 mm mini-jack for wired headphones and earphones.
Moving on to “living flesh”, the iQOO U5e, under the self-camera, 8 megapixel, ready for unlocking by scanning the face, places a 6.51 inch IPS LCD display, resolved in HD +, with 269 pixels per inch as a density for the pixels, and 60 Hz as regards the refresh rate. Gaming visual ambitions aside, the device is also basic on the rear photographic side, given the presence of a 13 megapixel main sensor, with videos captured up to FullHD @ 30fps, and a secondary one, from 2 megapixels, for the depth.
The configurations of RAM, LPDDR4x, and storage, UFS 2.1, expandable via microSD of max 1 TB, are two, from 4 + 128 and 6 + 128 GB, respectively listed at 1,399 and 1,499 yuan (change in hand equal to about 197 and 211 euros). The processor, in both versions, is always the octacore (2.2 GHz) MediaTek Dimensity 700, with the Mali-G57 MC2 graphics card.
Also equipped with Dual SIM, 4 and 5G, Bluetooth 5.1 LE (with A2DP profile and LDAC / aptX / codec), GPS (Galileo, QZSS, Glonass, Beidou) and Wi-Fi ac (direct, hotspot), the iQOO U5e mounts a 5,000 mAh battery benefiting from supporting 18W fast charging. The operating system, under the Origin OS Ocean interface, is Android 12.
