After the spoilers that have occurred in recent days via China Weibo, iQOO has formally presented two new Z6 smartphones, including the iQOO Z6 in 4G and Pro 5G version.
During an ad hoc event, the iQOO brand of BBK Electronics, born from a rib of Vivo, announced in India two new smartphones, the iQOO Z6 Pro 5G, iQOO Z6 4G, which expand the range of the Z6 model introduced beyond a month ago.
Worthy rival of the Xiaomi 11i 5G and Samsung Galaxy M53 5G smartphones, the iQOO Z6 Pro (159.6 × 73.5 × 8.49 mm, for 187 grams, in Legion Sky and Phantom Desk colors) uses a protective glass Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the front, which offers a drop notch, for the selfiecamera, from 16 megapixel (f / 2.0), and a 6.4-inch AMOLED display resolved in FullHD +, with 1,300 nits of peak brightness, support for HDR10 +, 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz sampling frequency of touch. The back, as circulated in recent days, offers two portholes in the bumper, with the larger one for the main 64 megapixel sensor (f / 1.79) and the smaller one that houses the 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle (116 °) ( f / 2.2) and the 2 megapixel macro (at 4 cm) (f / 2.4). There is also the contribution of a 4D linear vibration motor.
On sale on Amazon from May 1st on the occasion of India Summer Sale 2022, the iQOO Z6 Pro will be contemplated in the combinations of RAM (LPDDR4X, virtually expandable via Extended RAM 2.0 of 4 GB max) and storage (UFS 2.2) from 6 + 128 GB, 8 + 128 GB and 12 + 256 GB, respectively sold at 23,999 (initially discounted at 22,999), 24,999 and 28,999 rupees (295> 283, 308, 357 euros). In any case, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and can count on an 8-element heat dissipation system (- 12 °) that uses a 32.923 mm2 vapor chamber.
Energy side, the iQOO Z6 Pro implements a 4,700 mAh battery with fast charging, via Type-C, 66W FlashCharge (from 0 to 50% in 18 min): animated by Android 12 under the Funtouch OS 12 interface (with Ultra Game mode), the device also takes great care of connectivity, with Dual SIM 4 and 5G, GPS (A-GPS), Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
Like the model above, the iQOO Z6 4G (160.80 × 73.79 × 8.42 mm, for 182 grams, in Raven Black and Lumina Blue colors) also opts for the same software choices and adopts the fingerprint scanner under the display, a resolute 6.4-inch AMOLED panel in FullHD + with 180 of touch sampling. In the drop notch, the selfiecamera is 16 megapixel (f / 2.0) while, behind, the triple camera sensors, always contained in a double ring, provide a main sensor of 50 megapixel (f / 1.8) and, below, two 2 megapixel sensors (f / 2.4), one of which for macros and one for depth.
The octacore Snapdragon 680 and the Adreno 610 GPU are provided in the three configurations that always carry 128 GB of storage (UFS 2.2), but – from time to time, as for RAM (LPDDR4X, always expandable virtually, up to 8 GB) – 4, 6, or 8 GB, respectively priced at 14,499, 15,999, 16,999 rupees (179, 197, 209 euros). In the iQOO Z6 4G the battery rises to 5,000 mAh, but the wired charging speed drops to 44W while, in terms of connectivity, the 3.5 mm mini-jack, the microUSB Type-C, the Bluetooth 5.0, the Wi -Fi ac dual band and 4G LTE.
