Leave Facebook groups and Pages together at once

leave groups In this article, we talk about a truly special and useful extension for those who use Facebook every day and would like to make some basic operations like that of leave all the groups you have been added to at one time.
That of the invitations in the Facebook groups is really among the most irritating features of the social network, because there is no way to refute and because anyone can create a group and add all their friends without needing to receive confirmations or approvals.
And if, as I do, you turn off notifications from Facebook, you end up being added to so many groups without even knowing it, expect to see posts from these groups in the flow of updates on the main page.To exit the groups to which you are added it is, therefore, necessary to go to the group’s page, scroll down to the “section your groups“, press the button next to each group and press Leave group, then giving the confirmation again to abandon it.
This process, if there are ten or more groups to abandon, is rather boring and long

Thanks to a special multifunctional extension for Facebook, it’s possible to abandon all groups at once or even stops receiving updates from those who added us but do not interest us.

The extension for Google Chrome is Toolkit for Facebook (now gone), a set of Facebook tools to speed up many operations which otherwise would take some time.
For example, this extension allows stop following multiple pages at once, remove all the likes, stop following all the friends and then follow only those that interest us, send a message to many friends at once and much more.
The extension also contains the tool that hides the “displayed” in the messages, so as not to give confirmation of reading.

For our purpose, let’s use the Facebook Toolkit to abandon all groups at once, which is one of those things that I personally want to do even though it bores me a lot.
To use the extension, you just have to press the relevant button in the extension bar at the top right and then discover the tab tools.
Among the “tools”, those we need to leave groups are Leave Multiple Facebook Groups.
Alternatively, you can choose the option Unfollow Multiple Facebook Groups to stop following them so as not to receive updates from them.
In both cases, a page will open that lists all the Facebook groups to which we are registered, with the possibility of selecting them using a switch.
Then select the ones you want to leave or stop following and then press the green button at the bottom Start leaving groups.
Then leave the page open until a popup appears at the top that warns you of the conclusion of the operation.

Once finished, press the blue button refresh group list to check that all the selected groups have disappeared and, if someone has remained, select it again and repeat the operation.
In my tests, in fact, selecting too many elements does not seem to be able to manage them all at once and a double or triple intervention is required.
To make sure that the toolkit works well in one go, it’s a good idea to change the option to Select time interval between requests setting a value over 3 seconds, for example even 10 or 30 seconds, so that requests to Facebook are not blocked.
The operation will be longer, but it should be successful.

This type of operation can also be done to stop following the Facebook pages to which we are not interested.
For the pages, the buttons available in this toolkit for Chrome are Unlike Multiple Facebook Pages to remove the pages I like or Unfollow, which keeps the likes but does not display more updates on our page.

Toolkit for Facebook is, therefore, a very useful tool for other functions to be discovered and is certainly one of the best extensions for Facebook.
