As promised by its marketing material, the rebirth of the Chinese brand LeTV continues which, in the past few hours, has raised the curtain on another elegant entry level smartphone, the Y2 pro.

After “paying homage” to the iPhone 13 last May, the Chinese brand LeTV / LeEco has announced a new mid-range smartphone, the LeTV Y2 Pro, which is aesthetically inspired by the iPhone 13 Pro.
Proposed in the colors Magic Night Black, Blue Purple Electric Blue, and Orange Summer Orange, the LeTV Y2 Pro “clone” smartphone has a metal chassis (164.3 x 77.7 x 9.5 mm for 199 grams) with flat side frames (on one of the which is the fingerprint scanner), a front with notch / bangs and right-angled frames and, on the back, in frosted glass AG, a triple camera at the top left, with the sensors arranged identically to what was conceived from Cupertino with the aforementioned iPhone 13 Pro.
Frontally, the smartphone uses a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel, resolved in HD +, then at 1560 x 720 pixels: the selfiecamera reaches 5 megapixels and supports the unlocking of the device by means of the AI scan of the face. The back features a triple camera on which the specified main sensor stands out, 13 megapixels.
Leading the hardware side of the LeTV Y2 Pro is a 12 nanometer and 8 core (2.0 GHz) processor, the UNISOC Tiger T610 with ARM Mali G52 MP2 GPU: RAM, 4 or 6 GB, and 32 storage. 128, or 256 GB, are combined in the 4 + 32 GB, 4 + 128 GB and 6 + 256 GB SKUs, priced at 599, 799 and 999 yuan respectively (88, 118, 147 euros). The battery, from 4,100 mAh, gets the charge, at 10W, through the microUSB Type-C door, present as connectivity together with 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.x.
For the operating system, the LeTV Y2 Pro adopts Android 11 under the proprietary interface LeOS 11.0: curiously, instead of those of Google there are the Huawei Mobile Services, thanks to which it is possible to synchronize data with the Huawei cloud, and of functions such as Huawei Sports, Huawei Health, Huawei Read, etc.
