With a design that has points in common with the MG20 model dedicated to gaming, the New York brand Master & Dynamic has announced the new and elegant MW75 headphones which, available in various palettes (Gunmetal / Black Leather, Black Metal / Black Leather, Silver Metal / Gray / Leather, and Silver Metal / Brown Leather), are currently priced in the US at $ 599.

Weighted by 100 grams compared to the model of which they take the baton, the new Master & Dynamic MW75 headphones, destined to battle with the Apple AirPods Max, have an aluminum headband, steel joints, removable memory foam pads covered with lambskin, and glass on the external surfaces not sensitive to the touch, since the control is done through the canonical physical buttons. Inside, the manufacturer has placed custom 40mm beryllium drivers to ensure rich highs and warm lows – its signature sonic signature.

Connected in Bluetooth 5.1 with the source, and equipped with a wear detection function, the Master & Dynamic MW75 headphones have 8 microphones: of these, 4, beamforming, are dedicated to ensuring clear calls, also due to a design that it best copes with wind reverberation, while the other 4 work in favor of active noise cancellation, known as ANC.

The latter has three modes, including Max, All-Day and Adaptive, with the latter keeping the microphones always tuned in the vicinity, to adjust the ANC to vary the surrounding noise. To be noted, then, the presence of two different modes of environmental listening, including one to emphasize the voices and one for general use. In terms of autonomy, with the ANC on, it stops at 28 hours, which rises to 32 without it.

Thanks to fast charging via Type-C, in 15 minutes you can recover 6 hours of playback but, in any case, using a USB Type-C adapter, missing the 3.5 mm jack, you can continue listening in wired mode, also benefiting from a positive impact on latency. Finally, there is the M&D Connect app, which allows you to modify the settings, update the firmware, operate on the equalization and on the ANC.
