Microsoft continues to engage in the artificial intelligence sector by expanding between new services and innovations for existing ones. During the recent Inspire 2023 event, the Redmond company unveiled the next steps of its journey: first of all, we will see a significant expansion of Bing with Bing Chat Enterprise, an unprecedented solution to offer AI-based chats for work, available as a preview for more than 160 million people. Microsoft unveils many new AI
As Microsoft itself stated in its latest dedicated blog post, using AI tools not designed for business inadvertently puts sensitive corporate data at risk. This is where Bing Chat Enterprise was born, from the need to protect the commercial data of organizations so that they do not get out of these. What goes in – and out – stays protected, chat data isn’t saved, and Microsoft doesn’t have direct access to it.
Just like Bing Chat, Bing Chat Enterprise is powered by web data and provides complete, verifiable responses with quotes, along with visual responses that include graphs, charts, and images, and is designed in line with Microsoft’s AI principles. This solution is available in preview within Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard and Business Premium, without additional costs. After that, it will be available in the future as a standalone offering for $5 per month per user. Bing Chat Enterprise will also be accessible from Windows Copilot.
In addition, Microsoft 365 Copilot will become available to commercial customers for $30 per month through Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard and Business Premium. The launch period is not defined as the technology is still in early access testing. However, the price has finally been confirmed by the American giant.
