A little surprisingly, although there has been talk of this mid-range for some time, the new mid-range of the Motorola / Lenovo G series was finally unveiled, more or less in the same hours as the announcements of Realme, which, with the name of Moto G82 5G (349.90 euros) greatly raises the qualitative bar of this series of smartphones.
Written in the colors White Lily and Meteorite Gray, the Moto G82 5G (160.89 x 7.99 x 74.46 mm for 173 grams) has an IP52 water-repellent frame, with squarer shapes than those of the Moto Edge 30 which it also resembles. : mid-range, like last month’s model (Moto G52), the newcomer shows a 6.6-inch FullHD + display, of the AMOLED type, with 10-bit color depth to display 1 billion colors, 402 PPI, 120 Hz of refresh rate, 91.32% screen-to-body, Night Light mode to not strain the eyes.
The hole in the top center, in the small circle that pierces the screen, is the ideal location for the 16 megapixel self-camera (1 micrometer pixel, f / 2.2): the “barrel” on the back on the left circumscribes the triple camera, with a 50 megapixel main camera (quad-pixel, 0.64 micrometer pixel, f / 1.8, optical stabilization), an ultra-wide angle 2-in-1 (118 °) and 8 megapixel depth camera (f / 2.2, 1.12 pixel micrometers, fixed focus) and one for macros (Macro Vision, f / 2.4, 78 ° wide angle, 1.75 micrometer pixel).
