After the many rumors of the past few days, Motorola unveiled in the morning, currently for the Brazilian market, the two talked about mid-range smartphones Moto G62 5G and G42, animated by Android 12 under the proprietary My UX interface.

The flagship model, the Moto G62 5G (161.8 x 74 x 8.59 mm, in Midnight Gray and Frosted Blue), features the splash-proof (IP52) front of the chassis with a hole at the top for selfiecamera, with 16 megapixel (f / 245) and a visible chin at the bottom: in the middle, is placed, with 6.5 inches diagonal and an aspect ratio of 20: 9, an IPS Max Vision panel resolved in FullHD + (2,400 × 1,080 pixels ) with 120 Hz refresh rate.

The pillar on the left on the back aligns a triple camera with a 58 (f / 1.8) main sensor, an 8 megapixel (f / 2.2) ultra-wide angle (118 °) secondary sensor (f / 2.2), and a 2 megapixel tertiary sensor for macros like a traffic light ( f / 2.4). The audio section includes two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 3.5 mm mini-jack for wired headphones or earphones (for wireless ones, there is Bluetooth 5.1).

Protected by a fingerprint scanner placed on the side frame (coincides with the power button), the Moto G62 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 480+ octacore processor, put in tandem with the Adreno 619 graphics card: the RAM, LPDDR4x, reaches 4 G, while the expandable storage of 1 TB max via microSD is pushed to 128 GB. The array of connectivity, in addition to those already mentioned, includes the hybrid Dual SIM (or two nanoSIMs or one of them and the microSD), NFC for payments, Wi-Fi ac dual band (2.4GHz + 5GHz) , 4G VoLTE, 5G, GPS (aGPS) and microUSB Type-C with which to quickly charge (TurboPower), at 20W, the large 5,000 mAh battery.

The younger brother Moto G42 (160.4 × 73.5 × 7.99 mm for 174.5 grams, in Atlantic Green and Metallic Rosé colors) uses a 6.5-inch Max Vision OLED resolved in FullHD + according to an aspect ratio of 20: 9, with 60 Hz refresh rate: the top hole in the front houses a 16 megapixel self-camera (f / 2.45): on the side, in the power button there is the fingerprint scanner, while the always present rear traffic light of left circumscribes a triple camera also borrowed from the other model, with a main sensor of 50, an ultra-wide angle of 8 and a 2 megapixel macro. In the processing section the memories are confirmed, with 4 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of storage expandable via microSD of 1 TB: the Qualcomm octacore processor, however, is a Snapdragon 680 flanked by an Adreno 610 GPU and a modem for the only 4G. The connectivity section always includes the hybrid Dual SIM with 4G VoLTE, assisted GPS, NFC, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, while the energy section still charges 20W in TurboPower via Type-C the 5,000 mAh battery .
