According to what was communicated by the brand, Blackview has given an heir to its best buy tablet of last year, thanks to the new Blackview Tab 12, with Android 11 on board, a full-bodied battery, and improvements also in the audio.

Committed for some time in expanding its type of products, now also including notebooks, the Chinese brand Blackview does not forget one of its first loves, that of tablets and, thanks to the good results obtained with last year’s model, announced the new “Blackview Tab 12” tablet.
The tablet in question, already listed (144.02 euros) on the Aliexpress importer with bundles that also include a Bluetooth keyboard or the AirBuds 6 earphones, for dimensions and weight (239.2 x 157.93 x 7.4 mm for 423 grams) is easily stored in a folder o carrying bag: the back offers a matte finish applied to the Twilight Blue, Space Gray and Lunar Silver colors, while the side features flat metal edges in the iPad Pro style and the front uses a usual glass to protect a panel in-cell, therefore thin, with high contrast and clearly visible in the sunlight.
Specifically, the Blackview Tab 12 integrates a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display, resolved at 1200 x 1920 pixels, with high peak brightness, 24-bit color depth, 16:10 aspect ratio, and 80% screen. -to-body. The front self-camera reaches 5 megapixels (GalaxyCore GC5035) while, on the back, the rear, main and mono camera, goes up to 13 megapixels (Sony IMX258, 1.12 micrometer pixels, 1 / 3.06 “, HDR, 1080p video, fixed focus). Great attention has been given to the audio, with amplified dual box speakers (1W with 7 Ohm impedance) in a smart way that, in tandem with the k9 chip and special algorithms, ensure the rendering of a natural and powerful sound.
As already in the Tab 8 of 2020, the role processor is the octacore (1.6 GHz) Unisoc SC9863A, flanked by the IMG8322 GPU: the RAM (LPDDR4X) is expected in the size of 4 GB, which are paired with the 64 GB of the storage. Speaking of storage, the brand is aware of how two years ago they opted for 128 GB but, in this case, something was missing before, expandability via microSD, which can make available up to 1 TB extra.
For energy, the manufacturer of the Blackview Tab 12 has provided a high-efficiency 6,580 mAh battery which (when fully charged in 2-3 hours) ensures, under ideal conditions according to laboratory tests, 710.5 hours of standby time, i.e. in concrete 5.1 hours of video playback, over 20 hours of calls, about 5 hours of gaming, 5.7 hours of browsing, or 18 hours of music playback. There are, among other specifications, Wi-Fi ac dual band, Bluetooth 5.0 (AAC), 4G, GPS (Beidou, Glonass), OTG on microUSB 2.0 Type-C, and FM radio via mini – 3.5 mm jack.
For the software, the operating system was updated to Android 11, the Doke OS_P 2.0 interface was introduced, which brings with it the integration of the WPS Office suite, a notebook of productivity tools, the system manager (app management , free memory, game speedup, intelligent energy saving), the assistant to migrate data and the cold room (an environment in which to freeze apps to prevent them from consuming resources in the background).
