Meanwhile in India two smartphones of the F21 Pro series and the premium Enco Air 2 Pro earphones were making their debut, Oppo also held an event in China, fielding the mid-range for the domestic market, via JD and Oppo Mall. , between lights and shadows, Oppo AA57 5G.

Heir to a device from last year, and therefore not to be confused with the 2016 iteration of which it bears the name, the new Oppo A57 5G has a frame (7.9 mm thick, for 186 grams) quite square in shape, almost in in line with what was seen in the 2015 Huawei P8. Frontally, the device uses a 6.56-inch IPS LCD display, resolved at 1080 × 2400 pixels, then in FullHD +, with 100% coverage on the DCI-P3 color space, 4,096 levels of attenuation , and 90 Hz refresh rate. A small water drop cove at the top houses the 8 megapixel (f / 2.0) self-camera with face unlock.

The back of the Oppo A57 5G instead recalls the Reno 7 4G of the same brand of the BBK stable: there is a two-tone rectangular bumper which, in the darker portion facing the light one with the LED Flash, houses two sensors, including the main one from 13 (f / 2.2) and the secondary 2 megapixel (f / 2.4), for the depth. Along the flat perimeter, the 3.5 mm mini-jack for wired headphones and earphones and (on the right side) the fingerprint scanner find their place.

Great attention was also paid to the elaborative section. Here the Oppo A57 5G, in order to have the benefit of the modem for the aforementioned mobile connectivity, uses the MediaTek Dimensity 810 octacore processor, flanked by Arm’s Mali-G57 MC2 GPU: the RAM (LPDDR4X, expandable virtually by another 5 GB ), is provided in 6 or 8 GB denominations. while the storage, expandable through a microSD (SDXC Class-10), always amounts to 128 GB, but is UFS 2.2 in the version with 6 GB of RAM, and only UFS 2.1 in the one with 8 GB of RAM.

GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac / 5, Dual SIM with 4 and 5G (benefiting from an antenna specially designed to improve signal reception for the benefit of gaming), and Type-C make up the Oppo’s connective array A57 5G which, on the energy level, however, despite providing a 5,000 mAh battery, charges it just at 10W of speed, so not quite quickly.

Animated by Android 12 under the ColorOS 12.1 interface, the Oppo A57 5G is available in deep sea blue, silent night black, and lilac flower language, at a price still unknown for the 6 + 128 GB combination, but at 1,499 yuan (about 217 euros) for the 8 + 128 GB one.
