During an event held in the Czech Republic, Oppo raised the curtain on the issue of a recent mid-range show at home, which could therefore be the rebranding intended for the old continent with the name of Reno 7 Lite 5G.
Meanwhile, rumors are already beginning to circulate concerning the fact that the future Reno 8 series can see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor at work, the Chinese brand Oppo continues to devote itself to the development of the Reno 7 series which, thanks to an event of presentation held in Prague, now includes the Reno 7 Lite 5G model initially for the Central and Eastern European markets.
Animated by the ColorOS 12 interface, the model in question (159.85 x 73.17 x 7.5 mm, for 173 grams) has a frame with elegantly flat edges, a perforated front at the top left and, on the back, a rectangular bumper with the Dual design Orbit Lights which, that is, uses light rings around two of the photographic sensors for notifications and other use scenarios. At a substantial level, the device shares the technical data sheet with the Oppo Reno7 Z 5G presented last month in China, of which therefore it could be the emanation for the Old Continent.
Summarizing, therefore, the Reno 7 Lite 5G has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, resolved in FullHD + (1080 x 2400 pixels) according to an aspect ratio of 20: 9, with a 60 Hz refresh rate and the underlying biometric scanner. The selfiecamera reaches 16 megapixels (f / 2.4) and supports both some Air Gestures and face unlock. The triple rear camera focuses heavily on the main 64-megapixel sensor (f / 1.7, video at 1080p @ 30fps), followed by one for 4 cm 2-megapixel macros and one for depth, also 2-megapixel. According to the slides distributed by the manufacturer, the in-device camera intended as an app available to the user is implemented to support Selfie HDR, Bokeh Flare Portait, Portrait retouching, and AI Color Portrait.
The Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G connectivity array includes, among others, Dual SIM, 4 and 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, 3.5 mini-jack mm and the microUSB Type-C.
The processing section of the Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G contemplates the octacore Snapdragon 695 processor assisting it with 8 GB of RAM expandable virtually by 5 GB, subtracting unused space from the 128 GB storage, expandable in turn, via microSD. The battery, sized at 4,500 mAh, enjoys fast charging at 33W via SuperVOOC. Waiting to know the prices, given the only mnemonic set-up present, the user’s choices will be expressed only on the aesthetic side, through the opportunity to prefer the Cosmic Black variant or the Rainbow Spectrum variant with the back, i.e. formed by a layer reflective base and an overlying one shaded with red, green and yellow colors to ensure the gradient effect.
