After the release of the Reno8, Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro + models, the series of phones in question has just been completed with the expected Reno8 Lite 5G, already proposed by Oppo on the Old Continent, in Spain, at the official price of 429.00 euros. .

The Oppo Reno8 Lite 5G has an IPX4 waterproof frame (159.8 x 73.2 x 7.5 mm, for 173 grams), written in the classic Cosmic Black and gradient Rainbow Spectrum colors. The front places the hole for the self-camera at the top left and, under the screen, the fingerprint scanner: behind, a double ring system with two small holes on the sides houses the triple camera with LED flash. The screen is formed by a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel, resolved in FullHD + (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), with a panoramic ratio at 20: 9, 60 Hz refresh rate, the ability to watch Netflix and Prime Video in high definition, and protection via Schott X-Up glass.

Resolved at 16 megapixels (f / 2.4), the selfiecamera supports the AI palette (you can copy lighting and filters from a photo to apply everything on your own), HDR selfies, and AI based gestures (in practice the air gestures to make of things without touching the screen): behind, the camera is triple. To compose it, with the benefit of being able to use it in tandem with the self-camera in the “dual view video” function, are a 64 megapixel main sensor (f / 1.7, autofocus), a secondary 2 megapixel monochrome type sensor for portraits (f / 2.4, fixed focus, infinity focus), and a tertiary 2 megapixel one, for macros at 4 cm. Audio side, you can appreciate the 3.5 mm mini-jack.

The processing section of the Oppo Reno8 Lite 5G finds its strength in a typical mid-range octacore processor, the Snapdragon 695 which, in addition to bringing the modem for 5G, is accompanied by the Adreno 619 graphics card, and by a speed maximum clock equal to 2.2 GHz. Thanks to the virtual expansion function, the RAM, LPDDR4x, from 8 GB can reach 13, going to draw unused GB from the UFS 2.2 storage, equal to 128 GB, but expandable by another 1 TB via microSD.

In terms of autonomy, the Oppo Reno8 Lite 5G relies on a 4,500 mAh battery, which can be quickly charged via Type-C thanks to the 33W SuperVOOC: the numerous on-board connectivity (including Dual SIM, Wi-Fi ac, NFC for payments, Bluetooth 5.1) and the operating system, Android 11, under the ColorOS 12 interface
