After a long series of increasingly accurate indiscretions, the compact Realme Pad Mini, the tablet branded by the Chinese brand of the BBK stable, very thin but with a large battery in tow, has become official.
Over time, the evidence of the existence of the compact tablet from Realme has multiplied, first spotted in the FCC and TÜV Rheinland databases, and then revealed practically completely by a Filipino retailer on the well-known Asian e-commerce Lazada, to the point that at the brand of the BBK Electronics group, all that remains is to provide the official information about the new Realme Pad Mini, making its debut for now in the Philippine market, but with a view towards Europe (the standard model having also arrived in Italy, and according to the indiscretions of the leaker Mukul Sharma who, three weeks ago, had warned of the start of mass production of this device).
Premises aside, the Realme Pad Mini is confirmed as a very compact tablet, with a chassis (in blue or gray) of 211.8 x 124.5 x 7.6 mm and a weight of 372 grams, which also make it quite portable, easy to store in a pocket to be transported: despite its size, the device allows itself a large battery, from 6,400 mAh, which can be quickly charged to 18W via the included charger, designed for reverse charging.
Frontally, the Realme Pad Mini has optimized frames on the sides, but not at the top and bottom, so that it is easy to grip it when held horizontally, perhaps to watch some movies or TV series on the LCD screen, just a little larger than that of one. smartphone, from 8.7 inches, resolved at 1,340 x 800 pixels according to a screen-to-body of 84.59%. The self-camera reaches 5 megapixels (f / 2.2) while, behind, the post camera, with LED Flash, stops at 8 megapixels (f / 2.0, video at 1080p @ 30fps), in the name of a multimedia segment that provides, for the audio, the contribution of two stereo speakers.
To animate the Realme Pad Mini, on the software side, look after the Android 11 operating system under the Realme UI for Pad interface while, on the hardware side, the octacore processor (2 GHz) Unisoc T616 with Mali-G57 GPU can be seen: RAM and storage (expandable by 1 TB maximum via microSD) are two, from 3 + 32 and 4 + 64 GB, respectively priced, on Lazada, at 9,990 Philippine pesos (about 177 euros) and 11,990 Philippine pesos (about 212 euros). According to sources, a cheaper Wi-Fi-only variant, 3 + 32 GB, will also be listed later.
The reference to connectivity is not accidental, being the relative complete roster for the category: the Realme Pad Mini, in fact, has the Wi-Fi ac dual band, the Bluetooth 5.0, the 3.5 mm jack, and the microUSB Type-C door. for the transit of data and energy in the charging phase.
