The Realme appointment held in India, for the global launch of some products already known in the Chinese market, led to the unveiling of a new series of smart TVs, the Realme Smart TV X, with FullHD resolution, Dolby audio, and Android operating system. TV.
On the occasion of the launch, in India, of the already known Realme GT Neo 3 (smartphone), Realme Q2s (true wireless earphones) and Realme Pad Mini (compact tablet), the Chinese brand of the BBK group also announced the Realme Smart TV X, soon available for purchase in black color and with Android TV 11 on board.
The new television set, which Realme has called to compete with the very recent rival Xiaomi smart 5A, has very narrow bezels (bezel less: 5.76 mm) on 3 of the 4 sides, with the lower edge just thicker for sound output, entrusted to 4 speaker, 24 W, prepared for Dolby Audio. The visual area is represented by a 40 or 43 inch LCD panel, resolved in FullHD (1920 × 1080 pixels), with direct LED backlighting, which ensures uniform brightness across the entire LCD panel.
Featuring HDR high dynamic range support in HLG and HDR 10 standards, the Realme Smart TV X uses the “Chroma Boost” Picture Engine to enhance several picture parameters, including contrast, color, brightness, and sharpness.
Inside the Realme Smart TV X, the processing components include a Mediatek processor, equipped with 4 Cortex-A55 cores, flanked by a 2018 graphics card, the ARM Mali-G31 MP2: the RAM amounts to 1 GB, and also the storage, with its 8 GB of capacity, does not differ too much from the average hardware sector. The whole is sufficient to run, as mentioned, Android TV based 11, with various benefits.
These include (via a button on the remote control) support for voice commands to the Assistant, mirroring of content from smartphones and PCs via Chromecast, and access to applications downloadable from the Google Play Store. According to what was communicated by the manufacturer, the sales of the new Smart TV X will start from next May, according to a calendar that proposes the debut of the 100 cm model, or 40 inches, on May 4 at the price of 22,999 rupees, about 285 euros, while the 108 cm model, or 43 inches, will arrive on the market just a day later, on May 5th, being priced at the figure of 25,999 rupees, equal to approximately 322 euros.
