Without too much fanfare, having already been spotted in recent days, and due to the low-end membership, the new inexpensive smartphone, but with 5G, Realme V23, was presented in China by Realme.

The rich day of announcements at Realme share opened with the Chinese brand of the BBK group which in China, i.e. in the domestic market, raised the curtain on a smartphone that had already been spotted in the database of the telephone operator China Telecom in recent weeks .

Realme V23, this is the name of the device, has a chassis set up in the alternative colors Glass Magic and Gravel Black: between the two, the first, using the “Crystal Diamond” technology that allows you to apply the color in a structured and transparent way, borders on the effect of a “rising sun”. The aesthetic is completed on the front with a hole in the upper left for the self-camera and, on the back, with a rectangular bumper on the left, from where the reflections radiate, including a dual LED flash.

Equipped on the right, in the power button, with a fingerprint scanner, the Realme V23 integrates a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display resolved in FullHD +, 2408 x 1080 pixels, providing a photographic sensor for self-portraits or video calls 8 megapixel camera. The photographic section on the back is not surprising either, where a dual camera is housed. Specifically, it is a combination that sees coexist, in the classic main sensor + secondary sensor scheme, a 48 megapixel sensor, juxtaposed with a smaller 2 megapixel one. The sound section, on the other hand, provides for the presence of an increasingly rare 3.5 mm mini-jack for wired headphones or earphones.

With the benefit of making 5G mobile connectivity available, the manufacturer has opted, as processor, for the octacore Dimensity 810, the result of the expertise of the chipmaker Mediatek (who made it with 6 nanometer lithography), equipped with an ARM GPU Mali-G57 MC2: RAM is contemplated in alternative cuts of 8 or 12 GB, although the user always has a substantial amount of 256 GB of storage available in both configurations. The price, in the first case, is 1,699 yuan, equal to about 244 euros, against the 1,899 yuan, roughly 273 euros, of the version with more RAM.

Complete with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Dual SIM with 4G, via microUSB Type-C the Realme V23 charges the battery, from 5,000 mAh, quickly to 33W. For the software, the choice fell on Android 12 behind the Realme 3.0 interface.
