With a surprise blow, Xiaomi has not limited itself to the smartphones of the new Redmi Note 11T, Pro and Pro + series, but has also added a cheaper Redmi Note 11 SE to the event thanks to several compromises.

During the announced Xiaomi event, with regard to the telephone sector, the Chinese brand announced the promised (on sale from May 31) premium medium-range Note 11T Pro and Note 11T Pro Plus of the Redmi sub-brand, in addition to the medium -economic range Redmi Note 11SE.
The two smartphones of the Redmi 11T Pro series share the design, almost completely the dimensions (163.4 × 74.29 × 8.87 mm for 200 grams in the Pro which become 163.4 × 74.29 × 8.9 mm for 198 grams in the Pro Plus) and roughly the entire technical sheet, so that they can be defined as “different” twins: the two newcomers adopt a 6.6-inch LCD display resolved in FullHD +, Display Mate A + certified, with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10, 1,400: 1 contrast ratio, 650 nits maximum brightness, up (passing through 30, 48, 50, 60, 90, 120) to 144 Hz refresh rate, 270 Hz touch sampling, with an aspect ratio of 20.5: 9.
The hole in the top center houses a 16 megapixel self-camera while the raised bumper on the back of the chassis (IP53 waterproof), in the Atomic Silver, Midnight Black, Time Blue colors (unless it is the limited edition dedicated to anime Astro Boy), triangularly aligns a triple camera with the vertex to the right, with a main sensor of 64 (Samsung ISOCELL GW1, 1 / 1.72 ″, pixels brought to 1.6 micrometers via 4-in-1 pixel binning), an ultra-wide angle (120 °) 8 and one for 2 megapixel macros. On the audio side, two stereo speakers are recorded. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the side.
In both devices there is the same processor: it is the octacore MediaTek Dimensity 8100 reduced to 5 nanometers from the TSMC foundries: the number 1 difference between the two models is in the RAM (LPDDR5) and storage (UFS 3.1) setups: the Note 11T Pro model provides 6 + 128 (1,799 yuan, 252 euros), 8 + 128 (1,999 yuan, 280 euros) and 8 + 256 GB (2,199 yuan, 308 euros), while the Note 11T Pro + provides 8 + 128 ( 2,099 yuan, 294 euros), 8 + 256 (2,299 yuan, 322 euros) and 8 + 512 GB (2,499 yuan, 350 euros), giving up the cutting of the 6 GB RAM and going into storage up to 512 GB. The software animation is up to Android 12 under the MIUI 13 interface.
Equipped with various connectivity, as in the case of Dual SIM with 4 and 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, GPS (QZSS, Beidou, Galileo, Glonass), and the 3.5 mm mini jack, the new Redmi Note 11T diverge as a second discrimination for the energy section: the Note 11T Pro model integrates a 5.080 mAh battery (dual cell), which can be charged in Type-C at 67W, while in the 11T Pro + the battery (dual cell) drops at 4,400 mAh, but its fast recharge (0 to 100% in 19 min) goes up to 120W and the Surge P1 chip is present for monitoring the charging temperatures.
In the Redmi Note 11 SE – rebrand of the Poco M3 Pro 5G – a 6.5-inch FullHD + LCD with 90 Hz refresh rate and AdaptiveSync (in 30, 50, 60 and 90 Hz steps) is used: the selfiecamera in the central hole is 8 megapixel (f / 2.0) while, behind, the chassis in Shadow Black and Space Blue, has a “mask” section inside which, together with the Redmi logo, there is the traffic light for the dual vertical camera, with a sensor main 48 (f1./79) and one for 2 megapixel depth.
Equipped with a fingerprint on the side, the 7-nanometer Mediatek Dimensity 700 octacore processor (2.2 GHz) operates inside with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, supported by 128 GB of storage (UFS 2.2) and 4 or 8 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X ), in the 4 + 128 GB (1,099 yuan, 154 euro) and 8 + 128 GB (1,399 yuan, 196 euro) combo. The autonomy, entrusted to a 5,000 mAh battery, discounts the fast charge from only 18W: even the software segment goes to savings, with Android 11 implemented by MIUI 12. For connectivity, however, we talk about Dual SIM with 4 and 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual Band Wi-Fi, and GPS L1.
