Riot Games announced the partnership with Microsoft during the X-Box Bethesda Games Showcase. The Game Pass catalog, therefore, will be expanded with Riot titles to which, being already free-to-play, bonuses will be provided for owners of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscription. The operation will be launched next winter, still without a specific date, and there will be the following benefits for both PC and Mobile players:

  • League of Legends (PC) – All champions unlocked.
  • League of Legends Wild Rift (Mobile) – All champions unlocked.
  • Legends of Runeterra (PC e Mobile) – Foundation Set sbloccato.
  • Teamfight Tactics (PC and Mobile) – Little Legends unlocked.
  • Valorant (PC) – All agents unlocked.

This was announced by Marc Merrill, president of Riot Games, offering words of appreciation for the way in which the Game Pass has projected the concept of gaming into the future, revolutionizing it in some ways. Proud to be able to include his games in the catalog, the president also welcomed gamers who use Game Pass to the Riot ecosystem.

The Game Pass is a Microsoft initiative that, upon subscription, allows players to enjoy a truly huge catalog of videogame titles. Furthermore, with the Ultimate version, two additional subscriptions are provided (EA Access and Xbox Live Gold) for a total cost of € 12.99, while the PC version that includes EA Access together with the Game Pass catalog is only 9, 99 €, as well as the console version that does not provide the benefits of the other two.

As for the announced bonuses, here are some insights: the Foundation Set of LoR (Legends of Runeterra) is composed of the first set of cards released during the beta and includes the decks of Demacia, Freljord, Ionia, Nexus, Piltover and Zaun and Shadow Isles.

All decks are based to accompany new players to the basic mechanics of the game. While, for the rest, if the subscription remains active during the release of a new champion, legends or agent, these will be added to the characters unlocked already from Day-1 (upon release) allowing you to save additional in-game currency. Situation that, presented like this, seems to make all three parties happy: Riot Games, Microsoft and of course us players.
