Without too much fuss, given that the rumors of recent days had already anticipated it also in the design, Samsung has listed on its official website an entry level smartphone about to arrive in Europe, in the colors deep green Deep Green, light blue Light Blue, orange Copper Orange Copper, with the name of Galaxy M13.

The new device (165.4 × 76.9 × 8.4 mm for 192 grams) Galaxy M13 has a frame with a V notch in front, the fingerprint scanner – interfaced with the Samsung Knox cryptographic chip – on the side and , behind, a triple camera: there is also the 3.5 mm mini-jack and, again along the perimeter, the microUSB Type-C. The display, in the Galaxy M13, is formed by a 6.6-inch IPS LCD-type Infinity-V panel resolved in FullHD +.

The self-camera is 8 megapixel, with aperture at f / 2.2 and fixed focus. The triple camera on the back vertically aligns three sensors, including two with fixed focus, formed by the 5 megapixel ultra-wide angle open at f / 2.2, and the depth one, from 2 megapixels at f / 2.4, in addition to one with autofocus, format from the main 50 megapixel sensor, with f / 1.8, optical stabilization, and video up to 1080p @ 30fps. On the audio side, support for the Dolby Atmos standard is proclaimed.

If on the software side you can count on Android 12 under the One UI Core 4.1 interface, on the hardware side the beating heart of the Galaxy M13 is the same processor as the Galaxy A13 4G model, or the octacore Exynos 850, assisted by 4 GB of RAM in the 64 and 128 GB storage configurations, expandable by 1 TB via microSD.

Always among the supplied specifications, the new Galaxy M13 smartphone that has just emerged silently at Samsung can count, in terms of connectivity, on the Dual SIM, on the 4G LTE, on the Wi-Fi ac / 5 dual band, on the NFC for payments, on GPS, on Bluetooth 5.0 and on the aforementioned microUSB Type-C and 3.5 mm mini-jack. The energy, on the other hand, is stored in a 5,000 mAh battery (vs the 6,000 mAh of the predecessor), which can be quickly charged to 15W.
