With an official press release, Snapchat has announced the start of an official collaboration with YouTube: the result of the partnership will make it easier to share your favorite clips with Snapchatters friends.
After ending up at the center of rumors about the future implementation of a family center with a view to parental control and its own community system, the famous photo-sharing platform of the ghost created by CEO Evan Spiegel has ventured into an official announcement with which warns users of an important collaboration with YouTube.
With a post published in its official pressroom (newsroom.snap.com/), Snap Inc, the company behind the platform, recalled how every month 2 billion registered users go to YouTube, to update themselves on what is happening in the world , to discover new music, to learn other skills, etc. Aware of this reality, it was decided to collaborate with YouTube, to propose the music and clips of this Google platform to their snapchatters friends, so that they have “infinite ways to express themselves, share what they are watching and superimpose their own creative holds “.
Specifically, while before it was necessary to try their hand at boring copying, from now on, both on Android and iOS, snapchatters will be able to share their favorite videos drawn on YouTube thanks to the Snap Camera directly “where they are already talking to their friends on Snapchat “, or rather in personal Snaps, and in Snapchat Stories (since time immemorial also taken as an example by Instagram and WhatsApp).
To take advantage of the novelty just implemented on the mobile side in favor of Snapchatters, it is sufficient to start from any video on YouTube mobile which, as known, (like the desktop version) at the bottom presents the Share button: by intervening on the latter, you will be brought into the Snap Camera of your mobile phone (having Snapchat pre-installed), where it will be possible to use all the creative tools of the platform, to embellish the content that can be shared precisely in the Stories or as a personal Snap.
Once the content has been published, it is explained, thanks to the Snapchat stickers, and precisely by touching them, you will be taken to the complete video, which will be played on the smartphone via the YouTube app or, if the latter is not installed, on the user’s default browser.
