Finally there is new news regarding a highly anticipated event. We’re talking about the day when Qualcomm will present its new top-of-the-range processor to the world. Apparently so Snapdragon Summitthe company’s annual event, will be held a month earlier than usual, with October being the key period for the presentation of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Right inside a post officially published on its X account, Qualcomm shared the official dates. According to reports, it will be a three-day event held at Hawaii, more precisely in Maui, as usually happens. The start is scheduled for October 24while the end is set for the 26th.
As has already happened in previous years, this event should act as the official keynote for the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The hypotheses all seem to converge on the same date: the company will most likely present the new processor during the first day of the event.
Qualcomm ready to present the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in Hawaii
According to the latest forecasts, the next Qualcomm chip will be exclusively a 64 bit and will be powered by the latest CPUs ARM. New rumors suggest that the company intends to propose a CPUT configuration following the scheme 1+5+2 contrary to the 1+4+3 seen with the 8 Gen 2.
Just as Intel has done a lot for its artificial intelligence, Qualcomm will do the same this year. It would therefore not be stupid to assume that the new SoC could integrate some particular type of technology related to the execution of artificial intelligence on the devices that will host it.
There are therefore many rumors that have followed one another in the last period but to have a complete picture we will only have to wait for the official announcement. We are now close: there are about seven days until the start of the event, with the actual presentation which should take place on October 24. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is coming!
