After the information banners against disinformation on the coronavirus, and the refinement of the “collaborative” Blend playlists, Spotify has formalized an audio series on the masked bat and tested greater visibility for users’ playlists.

On the strength of its numbers, which see it being used monthly by 406 million active users (180 of which paying, i.e. subscribed to the Premium plan), Spotify has announced two novelties to delight its users, represented by a greater enhancement of some playlists , and from the launch in Italy of an awaited debut film, in the form of an audio-series dedicated to the DC Comics universe.

The first novelty of this launch of the middle-week regarding Spotify is functional. As is known, the recently dressed green platform has focused on the playlists with a change to the even recent Blend function, which now allows you to automatically generate playlists based on the preferences of 10 people (before there were two, limit left for dual Blends with particular artists) who come together as a group. The focus on playlists did not stop there, however.

In the past few hours, the admission of the launch, for a limited time, of a series of tests has arrived from Stockholm, planned in unspecified markets in which the big S is operational (then eventually followed by experimentation also in other countries depending on of the feedback obtained), which plan to make some playlists more easily traceable, even without having to find them through the search, making them appear directly on the main screen of the Spotify app.

Specifically, we are talking about the playlists created by the Curators, namely by particular users, people who tell stories via playlists by creating “authentic connections with other users”, and influencers, active in selecting content to be assembled in playlists, chosen by the platform on the basis of various parameters, including the added value of their playlists, their popularity, and the following (in terms of how many followers they have) of the Curators themselves.

The second novelty relating to Spotify is instead of a content type, but no less captivating (indeed!). In particular, it is about the broadcast, from next May 3, simultaneously in nine markets thanks to the adaptations to the screenplay also planned for Italy (in addition to those that will also involve France, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, India, Japan), of the first audio-series resulting from the collaboration between Spotify and Warner Bros regarding the heroes of DC Comics.

Waiting for new productions, we will start with the one entitled “Batman – Unburied” (in Italian, “Batman – An autopsy”), which will see – for the Italian version – the actor Claudio Santamaria, already highly appreciated in films such as “L ‘last kiss “,” Paz! ” and “They Called Him Jeeg Robot,” dubbing no less than billionaire Bruce Wayne, behind whom hides the masked bat.
