Microsoft added the new feature School Connection for his service Teams for Education. This was developed to give parents a quicker way to monitor their children’s academic progress. In a post published on its blog, Microsoft underlines that School Connection it is designed specifically for the use of smartphone for the students of grades K-12 (from nursery to high school). This feature allows parents of school-age children, or their guardians, to view upcoming tasks of their children at school. They can see what tasks are expiringwhich they have already been delivered from their children and all the homework that they may have expired must be delivered.

Teams for Education: more control and targeted support for your children

For parents and guardians with more than one child at school, the new School Connection feature in Teams for Education can help them keep track of all academic activities and the progress of all children. This is even if the kids hang out different schools or they are in different classes. Microsoft also added that the app is helpful in making parents understand i children’s strengths and their areas for improvement. In this way it is possible to provide children with targeted support.

Microsoft released Teams for Education last October for Windows e Mac. They have since been added different features. These include the possibility for teachers to reuse modules and receive feedback from their students on assigned tasks. Microsoft Teams School Connection is currently only available in some countries, but not in those of EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Schools in those areas of the world interested in signing up for School Connection can apply via the official Microsoft page.
