Telegram wants to demonstrate once again that it is one step ahead of the competition (WhatsApp). After presenting features that other companies then looked at, the well-known instant messaging platform is (almost) ready to land also on the highly anticipated Apple Vision Pro. The company has in fact shown aclient preview for visionOSthe operating system of the Cupertino giant’s first viewer.

The teaser was shared by the CEO of Telegram Pavel Durov on his personal channel and reveals the look and functionality of the Vision Pro app. Based on what you see in the clip, the app follows all visionOS design guidelines. For example, the interface is translucent and guarantees a sense of depth like other system applications.
On the left you can see a section (pill-shaped, you might say) for quickly accessing contacts, calls, chats and settings. The functions available to the user should be the same as the clients for iOS, iPadOS and macOS. Barring surprises, therefore, there should be no shortage of them either Storiesintroduced only recently.
Of particular interest are the player per i video they augmented reality stickers that go beyond the confines of the app window and make the experience even more more dynamic and immersive. As far as messages are concerned, they can be sent via voice dictation (Siri) or using the visionOS virtual keyboard.
At the moment these are the known details but it is likely that other news will be added over the next few weeks. Although we are starting to notice the first references to the headset in some Apple software, the debut of the Vision Pro is set for early 2024 in the United States. As regards the Europen market, however, we have to wait.
