Confirmed the technical data sheets of the Realme 9 4G and the Realme Pad Mini, the same in Europe as their Asian counterparts, the Chinese brand Realme has brought to the Old Continent a different version, however, in form and substance, of the Realme 9 5G.

During an event organized by the Global Product Marketing Lead JJ Kwan, the Chinese brand Realme presented the European versions of some smartphones already known with some surprises. “Our” Realme 9 5G is totally different, inside and out, from the version already known in India, as opposed to what was done with the Realme 9 4G smartphone and the Realme Pad Mini tablet, the same as the versions already known in Asia, but obviously now with prices and promotions for the Italian market.
Starting from what is already known, the “European” Realme 9 4G will be priced on Amazon, from 17 to 21 May, at the price of 249.99 euros (against the usual 279.99 euros) for 6 + 128 GB, while the 8 + 128 GB version will be sold for 299.99 euros. Otherwise, the Reame Pad Mini tablet, from 17 to 24 May will be promoted on Amazon in the Wi-Fi only version with 3 + 32 GB at 159.99 (vs 179.99), in the Wi-Fi only version with 4 + 64 GB at 179.99 euros ( vs 199.99 euros) and in the version with 4G, from 4 + 64 GB, at 199.99 euros (vs the usual 229.99).
Moving on to the real novelty of the day, the European Realme 9 5G, the latter adopts a front with a hole at the top left while the fingerprint scanner is placed on the side and behind, on a coverback with a wavy effect (through a process production that has placed different coatings of different thicknesses in different points), the bumper for the triple camera in a triangular arrangement, with a “neo” formed by the LED flash. To report the presence of the 3.5 mm mini-jack for wired headphones and earphones, as well as a microUSB 2.0 Type-C for data and charge.
Frontally, the device (164.3 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm for 191 grams) mounts a 6.6-inch LCD panel resolved in FullHD + (1080 x 2412 pixels), extended according to a screen-to-body of 90.8%, with 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling. The self-camera, from 16 megapixel (f / 2.1) boasts a Portrait mode and a Smart Beauty which, via algorithm, gives a natural tone to the skin. The most interesting triple rear camera features a 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) 4 cm macro sensor, a 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) black and white sensor and a 50 megapixel Nightscape Camera (5 lens, f / 1.8). On the audio side, a Hi-Res emission is credited.
Equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery that can be quickly charged to 18W using a 9V / 2A charger fortunately included in the purchase package, the European Realme 5G is powered by octacore processor (2.2 GHz) Snapdragon 695 with Adreno 619 GPU: the RAM (LPDDR4x, virtually expandable up to 7 GB) reaches 4 GB, while the storage (UFS 2.1) is 61 or 128 GB, expandable via microSD by another 256 GB.
With on board connectivity of the type that also include Standalone 5G and not, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi ac, GPS (Glonass, Beidou), the European Realme 5 G is animated by Android 12 under the Realme UI 3.0 interface . According to the Italian price list, the device starts at 259 euros but, in promo on Amazon from 12 to 14 May, you can buy it with 4 + 64 GB at 229.99 euros, and with 4 + 128 GB at 279.99 euros.
