Just this week some new processors were officially launched by the giant Qualcomm. The company, taking advantage of the splendid setting of Hawaii, has created the new new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3a very balanced device that will guarantee its support for the main top of the range models in 2024.
Several smartphone manufacturers were also at the event to take a look at what’s new. One of the giants that will present the most interesting ones is without a shadow of a doubt Honora Chinese brand that has seen significant growth in recent years.
The company has announced big plans for the future based on the new processor. The main suspect is definitely Honor Magic 6a device that will not only boast the latest generation chip inside, but also very interesting new features.
Honor Magic 6 will use the new Snapdragon for a new feature
According to the latest rumors, one of the most curious features that Honor will exploit thanks to the presence of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 concerns the gaze. In fact, users will have the opportunity to open applications using their eyes.
This new function that Honor calls Magic Capsule, works through multimodal interaction based on eye tracking. In a demonstration video, you can see this sort of Apple-style Dynamic Island on the new Honor Magic 6: by looking at the application in the background for a long time, it will be possible to open it in full screen.
At least for the moment, Honor has not gone into the details of this new possibility, but new interesting features have arrived. The next Magic 6 will most likely feature a new voice assistant called YOYO, very similar to Google Bard. It will therefore act through artificial intelligence and will be able to accept any command such as for example the creation of a short video with photos and videos stored on smartphones.
At least for the moment nothing else is known, but we will certainly have new information on the Magic Capsule function during the next few weeks.
